This wireless car charger is designed to use the MagSafe technology of the iPhone 12 series devices. The Belkin WIC004 is designed for vehicle ventilation louvres up to 3 mm thick and up to 20 mm deep.  The vent mount works best with vent louvers that are straight, horizontal, but can also be used with vertical vent louvers.  When used with vertical ventilation louvres, the bracket could move slightly if the weight on the bracket is too great.
