Silver Dapple Mare
The Silver Dapple Mare from Schleich FARM WORLD actually has a dark coat, but the so-called “silver dapple” gene means that it is much lighter and looks silvery. Even the eyelashes of silver dapple horses are light, usually even white. This coloring is common in Rocky Mountain Horses, Scandinavian ponies and American horse breeds such as Morgan, American Saddlebred and Tennessee Walking Horse.
- The Silver Dapple Mare from Schleich FARM WORLD has a particularly beautiful gray coat, a lush, light mane and silver spots.
- Silver dapple horses are not a separate horse breed as such. They are bred for their color.
