The Braunvieh is a domestic cattle breed that originated in Switzerland. It has been kept in the Alpine region for many centuries. The fur of the brown cattle is usually brown to gray with pretty shades and a black mouth, which is lightly edged. Although the animals are very muscular, they look noble and graceful. Brown cattle cows give a particularly protein-rich milk.
