  • The Holsteiner is an extremely popular sport horse and is one of the oldest horse breeds in Germany.
  • It has been cultivated since the 14th century in the monastery of Uetersen, which is located in the present state of Schleswig-Holstein. The first records of the Holsteiner are still much older and date back to 1225.
  • The Holsteiner brand shows a crown above a shield with an H in the middle.
