The BBQ 500 is an accessory set for grilling in the oven that allows you to prepare dishes of any kind in a unique way, in a mixture of baking, grilling and barbecue. 

By combining different cooking methods, you can prepare excellent barbecue dishes in an Alfa pizza oven

The BBQ 500 consists of: 

The grill tray, which serves as a glow tray and as a base for the grill rack in the oven.
The rotating grill grate, which thanks to the adapted design can be placed safely on the base and on which the grilled food is placed.
The great culinary versatility is one of the main advantages of the BBQ500, as it allows you to perform different cooking methods depending on how you use it. It can be used with hot embers in the grill tray under the grill grate (for faster cooking at a higher temperature, similar to "classic" grilling), or without (for slow but even cooking, similar to a traditional oven).

Another choice concerns the handling of the oven door, i.e. keeping it open to increase the circulation of hot air and thus cook by convection, or keeping it closed to mimic "classic" grilling and thus cook more slowly, but still add flavor to the food by smoking.
