RAID 0 for performance
The hard drives are bundled and function like one large hard drive to allow maximum speed and capacity.
RAID 1 for redundancy
The hard drives are mirrored, which means that the data on both hard drives is automatically identical. If one hard disk fails, you can still access the other.
JBOD for flexibility
The hard drives work independently of each other, so you get two separate hard drives in one enclosure.
